How to edit FTP User Permissions

First you need to login to the FTP control panel Ftp_Adduser.png Click on list users on the left hand side Ftp_Listuser.png Click on the Username which you would like to change permissions on We will be using admin1 as the username, as you can see the only field set to No is Require SSL/TLS
  • File Read:Set to YES if you would like the user to be able to download from the FTP site
  • File Write:Set to YES if you would like the user to be able to upload to the FTP site
  • Folder List:Set to YES if you would like the user to be able to see what is on the FTP site
  • Folder Create:Set to YES if you would like the user to create folders on the FTP site
  • File Append:Set to YES if you would like the user to change file and folder names on the FTP site
  • File Delete:Set to YES if you would like the user to delete files on the FTP site
  • Folder Remove:Set to YES if you would like the user to remove folders on the FTP site
  • Require SSL/TLS:Set to YES to require the user to connect only using a secure connection
Now click on Apply Changes to make changes that you made, you have sucessfully edited your permissions! Ftp_Permissions.png
